Why you sitting alone? Honey, it aint’ the time to wind up Just pick up the phone I promise that I’ve made my mind up I just can’t believe The way the word’s been getting round now Why won’t you look at me? When it looks like I’m the one who’s bound to say Adelaide You’ll be okay Even on your darkest day You can ask yourself but you already know Adelaide It’s all your show You don’t gotta sink so low Hey, I’m trying to tell you something. Push it till it breaks What’s the worst thing that could happen? Just don’t be afraid If sometimes it comes unfastened Tear down the wall But it’s not in my power to give ya Freedom from it all But when you find it I’ll be with ya Hey, Adelaide You’ll be okay Even on your darkest day You can ask yourself but you already know Adelaide It’s all your show It’ll either sink or float. Hey, I’m trying to tell you If I turn out the light If I say good nite It will be all right Dark before the dawn About as bad as I have seen it Look and if I’m gone It doesn’t mean I didn’t mean it Hey, Adelaide You’ll be okay Even on your darkest day You can ask yourself but you already know Adelaide It’s all you show It’ll either fall apart or grow Hey I’m trying to tell you something

about

Doomsday pop takes another delightful turn in the new three track offering from Los Angeles' Alright Alright.

With a style that has been described as "theme songs from a secret society" (Beatcrave) and "delightfully invasive" (The704), Alright Alright is back to the kind of jangly indie-pop shenanigans they're known for. This time with an extended play digital-only release mined straight out of the hard-scrabble rock & roll mines of Southern California's San Fernando Valley.

You've got "Radio". It's a classic two-minute AA banger with sing-along hooks, so turn that one up.

Included on the B-side is a touching love song to Sweeney's newborn daughter, also AA's cover of Drugstore's "El President", a song originally about the coup d'état ousting of Chilean President Salvador Allende. We saw it slightly differently. Local string musician Kaitlin Wolfberg pushed these tracks into classics territory. Enjoy.
